Note: Here’s a collection of Halloween-themed haikus. The “rule” was to get candy, you had to write a Halloween haiku, so here are a few of them. 

The closet was dark. 

I thought the ghost was in there. 

But it was outside.

Roses are red, violets are blue.

This isn’t a haiku. 

Happy Halloween.

Halloween is cool 

I cannot write this haiku 

That is about it

I like chocolate

So to eat it I wrote this

And now it is mine
